Andrew was excellent from the first consultation, right through to being discharged. After my hip replacement operation I was pain free, and only had a few days taking painkillers. After 4 weeks I have been walking several miles with my dog, and it has made me feel 10 years younger.”

John a 57 year old businessman

Post operation I contacted Mr Pearson’s secretary with various questions and Mr Pearson always responded quickly which was very reassuring. My hip replacement surgery went extremely well I was signed off by Mr Pearson on the 6th week and by the physiotherapist the following week.”

58 year old Martin

I can only say that the new hips have changed my life from being virtually immobile to now enjoying tennis, badminton, golf , table tennis and also the occasional racquet ball match when time allows!

I was recommended by a very close personal friend who being a Surgeon, knew that Andrew would be the right person with the rights skills and the person to conquer my initial fears that, for so long had stopped me from considering surgery.

Being relatively young when my hips failed in my 40’s, I was so concerned that I would only have one chance at having the hips replaced and just kept waiting and waiting, as I had no concept that with these new hips, I could actually return to how I was before the hips failed.

From the initial consultation through to arranging the operations at the perfect time for my own business diary, I felt completely at ease with Andrew and was made fully aware of the process for the new hips to be fitted in what now seems such a short period of time, with a full programme of physiotherapy to regain the original movement included in only a matter of weeks.

I suffered for 7 years and wasted so many opportunities to enjoy the time with my family and friends, that I only wish that I had made the appointment to meet with Andy sooner.”

My mother was in a great deal of pain & her mobility was becoming more & more difficult. I tried NHS but as we know the waiting time was horrendous. We decided to go Private & have not regretted that decision. Easy to book OPA & then the operation itself.
1st rate care from Mr Pearson’s team. Big shout out to his secretary who was very helpful indeed. Definitely recommend anyone thinking of doing this for their loved ones.”

Mr Pearson did a very complex hip replacement for me. I have no hesitation on recommending him as I feel very fortunate to have been his patient. I also found his secretary Joanne to be very helpful and reassuring and accommodating.”

Debbie

Extremely happy with the pre op discussions and explanations and after op care, but more importantly, the execution of the hip replacement operation itself! “

Wayne

Absolutely phenomenal, Mr A Pearson is in my opinion the ‘very best’ orthopaedic surgeon in the midlands.
He has given me my life back, and that is not an exaggeration.”

59 year old Thelma from Wolverhampton says ”I’d say to others who are living in pain like I was, there’s nothing to be frightened of. My treatment was excellent, my recovery period was excellent, I suffered no pain at all and something that’s important to us ladies – I’m really pleased with my scar! Mr Pearson is an excellent gentleman and easy to talk to.”

John is a businessman from Berkswell who’s 68. He says” Mr Pearson is old enough to have plenty of experience yet young enough to be fully conversant with the latest techniques. He performed my total hip replacement 4 months after my first consultation with better results than I dared hope for. I should’ve asked Andrew to operate years ago!
